Strictly for dropshotting on a spinning outfit.  Fluorocarbon.

The line I use now is Vanish and it will be the last time I spool it with this brand.  Sometimes if I try to cast far I will get a nice bird nest type about 2 feet above my dropshot rig.

So I will take any suggestions and try them out.  Thanks!!!

You will see every brand of line posted here. Everyone has their own choice. You just have to experiment for yourself and find one you like ( and one within your price range, if it matters). I personally like yo zuri hybrid ultra soft....

I've had terrible luck with Vanish personally. I use P-line floroclear most of the time. It's not a straight floro but it's coated with it so it's still pretty hard to see under water. As for the tangle issue, make sure you flip the bait by hand after the cast and don't reel against the drag if a fish is pulling. Also make sure you use a good dropshot weight. I tried to use a regular bell sinker and it caused line twist like crazy!

SeaGuar InvizX or Tatsu, both are excellent lines.

FWIW, I like Invizx and Spiderwire Ultracast FC.

I'll assume you don't have the time or money to experiment with a number of fluoros to see which is best, so I'll recommend Invizx. If your budget is bigger than that, go with the Tatsu. If your budget is below that, Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft (hybrid).

In my opinion, 6 lb test in particular is where copolyer line really shines. You should give it a shot if you haven't already. Yo Zuri Ultra Soft or P-Line CXX. I've pulled my boat against wind and waves trying to break off on a snag with 6 lb CXX, an amazingly tough line considering how easy it is to work with.

If you're set on fluoro, I'd recommend 6 lb. Seaguar Invizx. It's very soft and manageable, and is my favorite fluoro for spinning tackle.

Great suggestions! Both P-Line and Yo-Zuri are

inexpensive. Give them both a try and see what

Been using 100% Berkley FC. Never an issue. A chapter member recently recommended Invisx to me. I may give this a shot this year.
