Looks like a Citica, based on the spool.

It's a curado /chronarch hybrid. So it's a .....curarch lol. Started as a curado e7. Spool and other black accents are chronarch e-6. The hawgtech handle totally makes it . Paint by Paul Smith/Pizz customs. Then of course all the internal upgrades. Drag, bearings, massage ,wash and wax Took awhile but it came out great.

Hooligan those are some sweet reels there. But I have to ask. Core or the jdm twin. I have a Aldebaran. I bought a aftermarket spool and mag brake set. I love it Any differences pluses minuses.

Nice! And thanks for the clarification.

Hooligan, those Megabass jerkbaits under those Conquests?

I think I saw that on his Instagram nice looking reel though

Fastmover3, I somehow missed the first custom Chronarch you posted here (the blue one), but both that one and this one are awesome.  The Shimano E platform is an excellent platform for custom reel projects, and you knocked it out of the park.

Ever consider upgrading the drag stars to aluminum?  The Core 100MG drag star isn't too expensive and would look incredible on either/both reels.

Awesome tip. Thank you . I tried a aftermarket star drag. It was really expensive and I did not like the fit. Now that I know those will fit aluminum will be installed ASAP . Here is a pic of the first one post-46027-0-08348400-1395698304_thumb.jpost-46027-0-57647700-1395698367_thumb.j

You'll also need the click plate and click plate retainer spring to retrofit the Core drag star, which are $0.99 each.  The numbers for those parts are 2121 and 2120.

FYI, the Core 100MG drag star is the same shape as the Curado 200E's aluminum star, and is probably the same thing with black anodizing.  The Core 50MG has a slightly more expensive drag star with straight prongs.

One other option:  If one or both of those reels started life as a Curado 200E, you could have Hawgtech anodize the stock aluminum drag stars.  Here are a few examples from Hawgtech's Faceblah page (not my reels):

I believe the cost is $15 per part, plus shipping.

BTW, I also did a reel not unlike yours, though I started with a Citica E.  Here she is:

I feel no difference between the two, i only picked up the mg because it has the 5:8 ratio for crankin.

Yep, vision 110's and pointer 100's

Kicker. That is one sweet reel. It looks real tough. How did you drill those holes so perfect? Very nice.

Thanks.  I used a ruler to mark the locations for the hole in the frame, and then freehanded the drilling.

Do you guys actually fish with these reels or are they just show pieces?

Most of the upgrades I put in my reel were to improve performance. I haven't got a rod for it yet (going to get a custom, and I need to buy a car first), but that's the only thing keeping me from using this reel.

I couldn't justify spending that kind of $$ on a reel and then not using it.

I was wondering some of these reels look like "trailer queens" of the hot rod world. I wondered myself if y'all took em out for a spin time to time. Lol

I have 8 custom reels. All of them get fished, but when they are not in use they are in a TW reel cover.

These reels look awesome no doubt. Deffinately interesting some of the tweaks. The hybrids are cool.
