They weren't waking up for me today at Shawnee State Fishing Lake. Marked tons of suspended fish but couldn't only call one dink up with a 78 Pointer. Had to break out the Ned to catch two more dinks. Nice to be out in February, though.

Classic "should have been here yesterday" on Wolf Sunday, because Saturday was real good. Still got folks into fish (after a two hour fog delay), but was probably the toughest bite I've personally had in months. They both had a few good ones, probably the better ones of the day, come unbuttoned on a RES. I did get one of my other friends to come out and play though.

Sounds like they woke up for a day.

Hit Melvern Sunday and got straight up blanked... Threw lots of jerkbaits, underspins, neds, bladebaits, dropshot, etc... I marked lots of fish suspended in the 30-40 fow range without getting any response from them. There were a handful of boats out there, maybe someone figured them out. 

 

Still a little cold- water temps 39-46.

@awohlwend and I went to MC Saturday morning.  He got a good fish pretty quick on the Dam off a finesse jig (3.75lbs), he can post a picture.  Then we went about 3 hours without a bite.  I caught a short near the mouth of the creek on a sizzle-fry jerkbait (my 1st on a Sizzle).  Water temp was 44-47. 

 

There were 5 or 6 boats and a kayak out.  They guy on the kayak said he was having a pretty good day and we watched him catch a short on a spinnerbait, other than that we didn't see anyone catch a fish.

Both. The answer is both.

Finally got a few at Cedar Creek yesterday morning.  Had to quit about eleven to play golf.  Should have kept fishing, played like poo.  Couple on a small crank, and the rest reeling a spinner bait, then killing it.  Hit it on the kill.

POST Trip.   My boat was already pretty dirty, but it was disgusting afterwards.

There's a bunch of lucky craft that's 80% off. I already picked out some stuff for me and then some wiggle warts but there should definitely be plenty left
