Ok I have never used a spinner/buzzbait before and I really want to get into it because my friend has had some luck with them and I wanted to know which knot is best to tie the lure to the line?

I have been convinced here that the palomar knot is the best knot to use in all applications.  

The one caveat is that I use a snap when tieing on a crankbait.

reverse clinch not great not Alton Jones uses it for everything except for braid use a palomar to learn to tie it go to you tube and search for fishing tips and it will have a bunch of vids of alton click on it then go to a video with a spinner bait

The knot used normally hinges on the line-material and connection type (line-to-lure, line-to-line, etc).

That said, I use the "Uni-Knot" for all line materials and all connection types

Needless to say, I can tie it with 'your' eyes closed
