I need to find how to catch the big ones

I've been having awesome luck with Zoom flukes in the albino white color.

yeah my favorite right now is the zoom bubble gum worms

It's hard to beat the Zoom green pumpkin finesse worm on a sliderhead.  I have caught some big fish even on this small bait.  If you haven't tried it, do it next time you go out.

Culprits are the ones for me.  I love their worms and lizards.  I just wish they made a  bigger selection of soft plastics.

The good old trick/finesse worm strikes again. Weedless and weightless.

yeah me too. what about hard nose anyone tried those personally i have not everytime i go to get worms i debate over it but never do

I won't say that that Zoom is the best but they do have the largest selection of shapes, colors and sizes. They are my preferred choice because they are easy to find in my favorite types and colors.

At some point you should try some Berkley Power Bait plastics. I think you will like them....I know bass like 'em.

I really like Zoom's ol'monster, Mag II, and 6" lizard.

For worms I use only Berkley or ***.

Now as for the OP's original question, Catt is dead on.  The most important thing to catching big fish is fishing where they live.  You can throw 10" worms all day and catch tons of small fish.  To catch the big ones you need to first focus on location.

This will be one of my big goals for the year.  Finding the appropriate structure/cover in the waters that I fish that will hold the larger fish.

Regarding worms: Several by GYCB, Roboworms and recently, 7 1/2" Larew Salty Ring Worm.

my favorite worms would have to be bereky powerworms but from that list i choose zoom   i like all the zoom products including there worms

I have caught more bass on Culprit worms than all my other baits/lures combined.
