My dad died two years ago,he was a die hard BROOKLYN DODGER FAN and when they left we both went to the Mets. Hey BB Fans I just finshed going through Tim McCarvers book BASEBALL FOR BRAINSURGEONS AND OTHER FANS.

My dad always said catchers are usually the smartest guy on the field. They have to know the hitter they face,are resposnible for defensive ajustments and have to know thier staffs.Well this book shows how this catcher(only one to catch 2 hall of fame pitchers  HEY BASSMASTA 7 one is Bob Gibson whose the Phillie HOF he caught?) that I know of.

 I miss him working for the METS , that &^&(Valentine pushed him away :-/Now he works for YOU KNOW WHO MR RISK :-[
