I saw today on GMA where a Carolina/California (one of these two) shopping mall is prohibiting/discouraging their Santa from saying "Ho,ho, ho" because it might be offensive to women and/or frightening to children. The alternative was to say "Ha, ha, ha". Give me a break!!! >

Here in Florida a state tourism group is planning to use the term "Shine" as a motto.  A group has complained about it since it used to be a derogatory term used towards black men.
