about his high-school football days and throws the steak and hits Napolean in the face  ;D ;D ;D ;D

There are a lot of great comedies out there.

Mafia the Movie with Lloyd Bridges is excellent.

Mel Brooks is a comic genius.

Too many to name and I would have to leave any out.

But Porkey's is great. The scene when the girl's coach explains to the principal and the two guy coaches about the guy sticking his "you know what" through the hole in the girls shower was a classic. Great writing. I smile when I think of the scene.

The guy in the Bird Cage who upstaged Robin Williams was terrific. I think his name is Lane. Of course, he is a polished Broadway actor. But to be able to upstage Robin Williams is something to behold.

Dom Delouise in The Best Little House in Texas stole that movie. He was great!

Ghost with Whoopie Goldberg had some very funny scenes.

Just way too many to mention.

grumpy old men

Now this is freaky.  Was just reviewing the t.v guide channel and Animal House comes on at 11:00 pm tonight, Eastern time.

Ditto on Animal House.  I can't believe I forgot that one.  Van Wilder would get my vote for a newer movie.  I just like the older ones better because back then everything was a little more taboo, now everyone is desensitized by the way TV is today.

Caddyshack is great but don't forget the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase.  Every year at Christmas Christmas Vacation is on at my folks. ;D ;D

What Tbird said:

"It's a Mad, Mad Mad World" and "Blazing Saddles" were the first two movies that came to mind when I read the initial post.  "Airplane" and "Caddy Shack" also rank very high. "Cat Ballou" deserves an Honorable Mention.

The Duke's of Hazard - the original series - not the new movie.
