The weekly gas price thread

Featured Replies

Was $3.05 when I filled up yesterday, but thats the cheapest by far that I have seen.

Down here in south carolina, gfas costs the following:

gas-1 arm, fill up-1 arm,1 leg

diesel-1 leg, fill up,your first born child

All I know is, from now on I'm taking a jar of Vaseline along every time I fill up.

I hear it hurts less if you grease it up first.

$3.19 - 89 octane (10% ethanol)

$3.29 - 87 octane

$3.79 - Diesel

That would make premium - one arm, one leg and both testicles

still floating around 3.30 around these parts. At least the dow jumped.

Ours just jumped 10 cents today. 3.299 for reg, and unfortunately, the end is not in sight.  That's ok, I didn't want to eat this week anyway.

Houston $ 3.19.9 87 oct

            $ 3.75.9 91 oct

Diseal $ 3.98.9

There are 2 stations down the street from my house, one of them sells 2 grades of gas and the other sells 3 grades.

Here are their prices (Price to fill my boat with gas 1 time is to the side of each price, makes me sick and that doesn't even include the Optimax oil)

Station #1

$3.29 ($184.24)

$3.39 ($189.84)

Station #2

$3.29 ($184.24)

$3.44 ($192.64)

$3.64 ($203.84)

I am not sure what the price of diesel is because they don't it on the big sign. Also I do not know what the octane ratings are for any of the grades listed. I just saw the signs when I drove by tonight.

JT Bagwell

$3.46 for 87 octane in San Diego. Bummer! But my bicycle gets GREAT gas mileage:o)

Youngstown, OH.

$3.29 for 87

$4.01 for diesel

3.09 this morning.  I'm going to have to get a 3rd job just to pay for my gas from job 1 and 2 >:(

It jumped here today too.  $3.45 a gallon.  Cost me $101.00 to fill my truck up today. >:(

No offense burley but this thread is depressing.    :-/

The depressing part is that we, as the consumers, don't seem to be able to do anything about it. We ought to have some power somewhere.
