My aunt's kitchen and breakfast room always had a wonderful smell to them when I was growing up.

It was only a few years ago that I finally discovered what the wonderful smell was.

It was butter.

Beautiful, creamy, delicious butter.

I lived in Alabama (ROLL TIDE) 13 years and my wife is from Leeds. I guess I helped keep the ratio down somewhat.

I am 6'0", and weigh 175

She is 5'4" and 120.

Pickles are perfect by themselves.

Ever eat boiled okra?  That stuff is slimey.  Jerry Clower used to say that he ate so much boiled okra as a kid he couldn't keep his socks up.

! Are you guys kidding me? Fried pickles are awesome, along with fried okra. I'll eat anything fried, last night i went out to west texas and my grandma fried some squash  .

Here's some Alabama health food:

1. Freeze a snickers bar on a stick.

2. Dip it in pancake batter

3. Deep fry to a golden brown.

Awesome!!!

Fried twinkies aren't half bad either.

I'm gonna have to agree with the fellas that like the fried pickles....Awesome!!!

My fiance is a corrections officer.  Each time they have a food party at work, her co-workers request my deep fried oreos.  They are usually gone in about 2 minutes.  

We were eating fried pickles when I was a kid(I'm now 50).Man,they are GOOD!!!Fried okra is great too.I like the boiled only in gumbo.
