Yes, good ole Southern cooking.

My aunt's kitchen and breakfast room always had a wonderful smell to them when I was growing up.

It was only a few years ago that I finally discovered what the wonderful smell was.

It was butter.

Beautiful, creamy, delicious butter.

No wonder everything she mad was outstanding.  :)

I lived in Alabama (ROLL TIDE) 13 years and my wife is from Leeds. I guess I helped keep the ratio down somewhat.

I am 6'0", and weigh 175

She is 5'4" and 120.

Go figure

Went to Guntersville for a CAST event this yr,....fried friggin pickles.  I'll try just about anything,...those......... were disgusting.

Ever eat boiled okra?  That stuff is slimey.  Jerry Clower used to say that he ate so much boiled okra as a kid he couldn't keep his socks up.

My fiance is a corrections officer.  Each time they have a food party at work, her co-workers request my deep fried oreos.  They are usually gone in about 2 minutes.   ;)
