MySpace.com ?

Featured Replies

Ok guys,

I finally got a myspace account (I am old, cut me some slack).

So far it seems a little over rated. How many on here actually

go to that site on a regular basis?

congrats on keeping up with technology and getting an account.

I personally only go on myspace to be nosey with my nieces and nephews which is only once a year.

turns out you can find out alot about people by their music and friends and favorite things

JT, Myspace used to be the thing, but now it's Facebook.

Just what I was fixin' to say. MySpace seems to cater to the younger crowd. Facebook is where it's at.

I won't go near it.  My wife checks up on our nieces and and nephews... and her computer has been infected with so much crap we had to have it cleaned up several times.

"The younger crowd". . . that's the pot calling the kettle black.  ;D

Like senko77 said...facebook is now the new thing.I do have a myspace account....but i rarely use it and it's just to keep contact with some friends down in TX.

I think they're all overrated. No MySpace or Facebook here. I'm not very social.

My wife, however, is a little more social. She's even got members of my family who I haven't spoken to in years and she's only met once as friends. :-?

I socially interact with most people the old-fashioned way. You know, by TALKING to them in person.  There's a new concept!  ::)  Bassresource is the only cyber-communicating that I do.

Facebook    ;)

Very rarely.

I have a page but never check it.

At least I think I have a page.

No one I need to see or talk with is on MySpace.

It is a "kid" thing.  ;)

Facebook to share photos with family members and friends that live in other states.

I would have one but my dads gosh darn fire wall keeps we out! >:(

Never been to either one

lol.  I had a buddy set one up a while back.  I never visit it, manage it, or developed it.  There's no picture, no nothing.

I get enough of the net with the boards I visit.

I used to be the same way.  My friends finally talked me into getting a facebook account last month.  I do not regret it.

I think I have a face book page.  Dont ask me what it is or my password.  I have no clue.  I dont ever go to it or use it.

LOL Dan that was funny.

I have Facebook too, but I didn't like it much either. Really I was interested in seeing if I knew people from high school and crap like that.

Oh well, at least now I can look at a bunch of stupid stuff this winter. We have snow in the forecast for tonight or tomorrow again I think.

It is http://www.myspace.com/jeremiahbagwell if anyone gets bored this winter.

I completely missed the boat on the whole myspace and facebook thing. I have yet to be convinced why it is necessary or better than using phone or email by people who have a page.

I guess I am getting old.

You think you are getting old?  I have no idea what Myspace or Facebook are, or why they would be needed.  I liked it a lot better when people actually talked to each other.

And you say this as you sit behind a computer screen? At least Facebook has a live chat.

Mike, thanks to myspace an old girlfriend got back in touch with me recently. We talked on the phone a few months ago for over 8 hours one night. 14 years is a long time to catch up on.  :)

Matt,

I signed up so I could try to find people from High School and stuff like that. You forget about a lot of people if you don't see them in years.
