He's BAAAAAAAAAACK

Featured Replies

They said when it was announced during the game tonight that even the Public Relations staff for Eagles were surprised.

I'm glad the rumor of him going to Pittsburgh were false.

Him and Stallworth have no business playing football. Both should rot in the slammer. Any "human" who can hold a dog underwater until it "stops thrashing" should suffer the same fate.

Couldn't agree more. Vick should not have been given a second chance. Found this from awhile back where the Redskins player, Clinton Porter, defended Vick by saying "It was his dogs. If that's what he wants to do, do it. What people do behind closed doors." "You want to hunt down Michael Vick over fighting some dogs. I think people should mind their own business." http://www.wdef.com/node/5296

I agree. But, if you don't allow Vick back in. What do you do about Stalworth? Hes still is banned from the league.

I actually believe Stallworth's apology. I still don't think Vick cares about what he did.

Forgot about Stallworth, used to love him when he was on the Patriots but after what he did, he should not be allowed back to the league either. DUI manslaughter, yet he only served 24 days.

I still can't quite decide how I feel completely about that.

It just seems that since they let Vick back in (which they shouldn't have), that they should let Stalworth back in, also.

I do agree with bmadd, I really do think Stallworth was sincere in his apology and I truly do think he feels awful about it, unlike Vick. Stallworth was only suspended for this 2009-2010 season last I heard, I would much rather have him be playing this season than Vick, I have absolutely no respect for Michael Vick. Stallworth at least manned up to what he did, he stopped right away at the accident and was the one who called 911 and willingly took the breathalizer and didn't try to place blame.

Interesting perceptions.

Some say to give a person a second chance.

Others say no to this idea.

Vick has a lot of talent.

Vick is also a louse.  A person who thinks he is better than anyone else.

I am sure he is humbled and embarrassed by his actions but he needs the money and his talent will certainly help the Eagles.

Some people like to see our heroes fall; then sit back and see if he can redeem himself.

Time will tell.  ;)

Vick grew up in a culture that finds nothing wrong with dog fighting or **** fighting . Do you really believe he saw the error of his ways ?

He got 2 years for his crimes , Stallworth got 24 days . What's wrong here ?

Andy Reed should do well with him. He has the ability to work through mist controversy based on what he has been through over the last 5 years both with the Eagles and his personal life. Best of luck Andy!

The first set of downs may go like this via player justice

he gets sacked 3 times in a row

on the stretcher after the third time

offensive guard is saying: Gee we thought he said red dog47, we all missed our blocking assignments, what are you gonna do, I hope his leg is not as bad as it looks ;D

ps I know very little about football, a friend said this last night, I found it funny ;D

Great role models,...great way to lead by example,...GO NFL!!  ::)

As much as I absolutely despise what he did, he didn't sentence himself. My complaint and opinion is that the sentence and suspensions were too light. I have to keep reminding myself that he fulfilled the requirements of the court and served his time, however under sentenced it was. Beyond that, I just won't cheer for him or the eagles.

I'm surprised he went to the Eagles.  My top picks where Stealers, Vikings, Pats, or 49r's .  I missed that one!  ;D

He served his time and lost basically everything he ever had.  I say his sentence is up and if the NFL (a private organization) wants to hire him then I hope does well.  I'll enjoy watching him play once again even if the rest of you don't.    ;)

Good for him!

I happy that neither were Lions......

The have enough trouble being the Lions.

As far as Vck is concerned he did the crime got caught and served his time as prescribed by law.   His debt is paid and now he has every right to continue on with his life and make a liveliehood for himself in his chosen career, which in no way coinsides with animals.

I DO NOT condone what he did in any way but there are 1000's of cultures throughout the world where it happens everyday and noone is saying anything about them.  These weren't domesticated pets they were bred for the sole purpose of fighting.
