So I went to Walmart today for the first time.

Just wait and see what you observe around the track at Bristol.   I'm glad a lot of them aren't from around here.

You've got to be kidding.  You went to Walmart for the first time today?  Man, Robert, you really ought to get out every once in a while and live a little bit. ;) ;D

Enjoy the race!

That's my go to store for all my needs... except fishing haha

Redline you need to get out among us regular folk once in a while. If they ain't got it at Walmart, you don't need it... ;)

Wally World and K-Mart -- good places for sports apparel.  NASCAR.com is good too.  Then, of course, your favorite driver's website will have it all!

Not to mention all the stuff they will sell at the track.

I'm going to do my best to blend in with the locals.   :)  Really looking forward to this trip!

I like the old 90's style shirts. And the cars for that matter. I still wear my old Rusty Wallace MGD Ford T-shirt  8-)

And here's how. Study peopleofwalmart.com and try your best to replicate.

Rule 2. Get a tattoo of a mom heart but in stead of writing mom, insert " Free Bird"

LMAO! I would try that if I could even grow back hair!

That right there makes me feel old. ;D

If you're going to go to Walmart, you really need to go in the middle of the night. That's when the true "People of Walmart" are out shopping. You never know what you're going to see.

x2, if you can get into the store without getting shot and/or robbed, you will definitely be entertained. Some nights in Gastonia it looks like the zombie apocalypse in that store.

I used to go to WalMart when I was in college. I tried to limit my trips to after 11pm. There were some weird people there late at night but the weirdest by far was a guy we used to call the "Turqoise Cowboy." Oddly enough I only saw him during my rare day time trips.

Wish I would have taken pictures.  The checkout lady had half a mouth full of teeth.  One guy looked like he hadnt showered in a month..other than in motor oil.  There was also a 6:1 ratio of kids to adults.  Dont think I'll be going back anytime soon.  :)

Well, this might be a regional argument we're not proud to win,

but while you're at Bristol, you need to visit a Southern Wal Mart.

You ain't seen nothin' 'til you run into 58GGG/65/85 in 34" Spandex,

tube top and stilettos.

Okay, I was a little surprised when SmokeRise1 said he'd never ordered pizza, but how in the world do you manage to go so long without stepping foot in a Wal-Mart?

Thank you sir, but I will respectfully decline that offer.  ;D

My kind of woman.....see if she's got a sister and we'll make a party out of it. A couple bottles of Boone's Farm and a few boxes of Ho Ho's and who knows where it will go.... :o

I hear ya. My favorite was the large farmer in overalls covered with some type of manure with no shirt (when I say large I mean in like he swallows a rack of basketballs) pushing the cart with his gut, while his anorexic looking wife (with may 3 teeth and maybe some chew) shops along with him.

Now they are not dangerous folk mind ya, but...darn man. I wish I owned a cell with a camera when I saw that. They seem to avoid me ever since I did upgrade my phone.
