I like to eat......really don't have a favorite thanksgiving dish. I'm just thankful i can eat with my family.

Anything with cranberries in it... I'll eat that stuff until I throw up... Then eat some more.

Leftovers.  As much as I love eating the actual dinner, the leftovers are always so awesome.  Turkey, ham, and stuffing sandwiches....  Nom nom nom nom.

I LIKE FOODING

deep fried turkey.

That is something I'm dying to try...

It's the only day of the year that I actually look forward to eating turkey.

deep fried turkey.

My family is having that this year. I can't wait to try it.

I really like green bean casserole, so that will probably be my favorite.

Thanksgiving inspired my perfect bite. Here is the recipe...

Get some mashed potatoes on the fork. Press the potato'd fork into the corn. Roll the two in your gravy puddle. Cram a little stuffing on the end but leave some room to poke a piece of thigh meat. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: this generally tastes better when nobody is looking. If you have guests that may be turned off by this, I'd suggest waiting to try it on the leftovers.

This year I am going to make leftover empanadas to contain all the ingredients listed above. Mmm.

Meatballs......covered in a mixture of cocktail sauce and grape jelly.

My wife's stuffing. The recipe came down through her side of the family. It's loaded with bacon, the bacon grease, onions, celery, and other 'secret' ingredients I'm not allowed to disclose :D She makes a huge double batch. Half is for us and half is given away to friends.

Nine Miler is right on the money with using mashed potatoes as glue for other food items. I've always mixed my veggies with my mashed potatoes. Adding stuffing, meat and gravy is the bonus round.

Break out the sweatpants, it's 2 days away 8-)

Marinated baked turkey and my granny's recipe for cornbread stuffing.

My wife loves to bake pies, so there will be some great deserts too.

LOL.

The eating/food tasting while cooking usually leaves me full before I sit down to actually eat.

We eat at noon, and the Cowboys game is at 4. So what I do when this situation arrises is get half a loaf of bread, hollow it out leaving, ehh, an inch of bread on the crust lining. Then proceed to fill it up with all the leftovers and lots of gravy. I find this easier to eat during the game then to keep having to look at my plate. With my "Thanksgiving Torpedo" you just have to point and chew  :)

The lady that brought them in claimed her mother in-law made them ::)

shred up some turkey with your knife and fork, mix it with mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy. thats really the only way to eat turkey and corn.

I don't have a favorite, I love them all!!  Someday I will make it home again for my moms turkey day dinner...no one makes it as good as mom does!
