Straight up Folgers dark....no sugar, cream, flavors....just good black coffee. 8-)

As long as it is a good strong dark blend I'm in. I like the high end blends, but I drink Folgers Supreme dark roast most of the time. I know that most of you coffee snobs now have categorized me as unenlightened Philistine. I'm OK with that.

Try Community Coffee Dark Roast at home. Otherwise, McDonalds

has a great cup and Dunkin' Donuts, too!

I grew up in Cajun Country.  Hot, black and strong Community Dark Roast is what I drink all day.  I usually pour my last cup around 4:00.

I drank a lot of pots of Community Coffee at Grapevine Landing between March 1976 and March 1990.  Haven't fished the 'Big Pond' since 1990.  Hope to fish it at least one more time before I die.

Another Community Dark Roast fan here.  It is about the only coffee I drink.

  I agree with RW, I despise most of the Micky D menu, but they make a pretty good cup of Joe.

Well, yes and no. If you think a press is going to make your 8 o'clock taste better, maybe, but probably not. Generally speaking you are using a courser, fresher grind of bean of much higher quality, with more oils and character that a paper filter or high temps would remove or destroy.

It's delicious.  I can't quite put my finger on why it tastes better, but it does.  Definitely my favourite way to enjoy coffee. 

Sadly, most days I don't have the patience or the time and use the good old programmable drip machine.

I like up to espresso strong if that's what you mean.

Its not espresso, but you get all the flavor out of the bean.  Got Target, get a small press, and pick up some good quality course ground beans.  Boil water, let sit a minute, add beans, pour water slowly, stir with chopstick, let sit for five minutes, press, and pour.

I never acquired a taste for coffee. Heck I don't even like the smell of it.

For the fisher-dude mentioned only arabica beans...all coffee is arabica it is the latin name given to the coffe plant. I laugh at these ads for coffee made with 100% Arabica beans...as opposed to what kidney or navy beans?

As far as types of coffee, every day I like Dunkin Donuts. Specialty coffees...Jamacian Blue Mt  or Kona from Hawaii.
