Not my wife, but I got the girlfriend some bath salts, Despicable Me, Some M&M's saying " I Love U", some homemade scented candles I made at a craft fair, and a long hand written card.

I think I did pretty good  8-)

If you had your man card yet, you would have lost it.

No, you see, I've got a semi-man card work permit. The rules are different at the age of 15.

Yes. They are tricky.

The last thing they made me buy was a CHI hair - straightener last year for $100. Lady loved it but my wallet didn't.

If you want them to go away, call them Lithuanian. It gets on their nerves! ;D

All I got for my wife this year was a ten dollar digital cooking thermometer, the kind that slides into a sleeve that clips into a pocket.

We had a couple of major expenses this year, one of which is that our septic system is being repaired and some big vet bills for our dogs.

We joke that those are our presents to each other.

We don't even bother with cards.

For our kids, and the younger family relatives we do the gifting thing.

Anniversaries, birthdays, Valentines day we do celebrate with cards and gifts.
