There's a site called spokeo.com that's a new online USA phone book w/personal information: everything from pics you've posted on FB or web, your approx credit score, home value, income, age. Remove yourself by searching your name, find the URL of your page, then go to the bottom right corner of the page and click on the Privacy button to remove yourself. Copy & re-post so your FB friends are aware!

right, but you should google Spokeo. the site isnt the problem. the problem is your info is out there and that site is just gathering it.

Honestly though, you give anyone 10 bucks and 2 minutes, they could find all this and more on hundreds of more sites. Hard to completely remove yourself from the net...

Oh, I see, and I agree.  Credit score, home value, and salary are a little more personal than common information you can find the the local phone book.

Which may be more reason to delete it. There are employers out there who may check things like these before offering you a job.

Other than the apx value of my home I saw nothing. However I did not join,login or pay to see anything.  I could not remove my listing, tried the code about 6 times.

A relative of mine removed her information a couple of weeks ago........it's back up again.
