Well, this is a new worm I just received for trial last week. I guess it's still "Top Secret" so all I can tell you is that when it becomes available, get yourself a couple of bags. For big bass hunters, your quest is over!

Last Saturday morning I fished the worm and although I only had one bite, I think the fish I caught might be the biggest bass in the Secret Pond. Further reports to follow.

This is really awesome because I am just now getting into fishing 10 inch worms.  I have had some pretty good success this year on Zoom Old Monsters so I will give these a try.  Nothing gets me going like feeling a Bass inhale a 10 inch worm!

The style of action is not subtle by any means, better described as "On a mission".

10 inches is big for this lure.  Any bigger and big bass would reconsider eating it.  This thing is very alive and has a big, solid profile.  The 7incher is my top producing worms for this year.  To put that in perspective, I have been using them for just over a month now.  From Jan. until then, it was the usual zoom, culprit, and berkley 7inch worms.  These things have boated tons of fish for me rigged in all sorts of ways.

My favorite daytime colors on that worm right now is Red Shad, and Red Bug and Watermelon Red. Red anything is hot this time of year where I am.

RW, try that space monkey fished the same way you said to fish the creature in the "You May Get Your Arm Broke" thread.  Holy cow, this may be the perfect bait for my mucky lake.  

All of these baits are perfect or my lake.

BTW, whoever sent out the samples did a STUPENDOUS job of picking colors.  Every pack of everything I got was in the color I would have picked.  

And have I mentioned just how good the new packages are???  Best packed plastics on the market (and that ain't no small thing).

I like the same hook RW but you may remember the long shank, heavy wire, 4/0 to 5/0 Eagle Claw offset hook. This is my favorite hook on the 10" Anaconda but will drop down on hook size to a 4/0 to 5/0 hook as you noted on the 7" Annie. It's more like 8" when it starts swimming.

Whatever weight is chosen for wind and depth will do just fine.

I plan on trying the 10" Annie with the Matzuo 5/0 Light Wire Worm Hook. The Matzuo is similar in shape to the hook RW uses, but is longer and when rigged will go through the body about a 1/4" up from where the fin on the worm starts. This is a very good hook for long worms as it give you significantly more length without having to go up to an oversized hook.

I ask my self the same question Simon, since the ICAST, my prototypes are gone. Now in order to go fishing, I have to make my own, ONE AT A TIME. This sux. I think SKLCo does this on purpose because they know when I'm making baits, I'm trying new stuff. They like me hungry.......
