tastiest fish

Featured Replies

havent had many. my favorite was chinese style (marinated and steamed) largemouth bass

It's a tossup for me.  Cobia, redfish, speckled trout, or crappie.  Tough one.

Walleye is number one.  In no particular order are salmon, catfish, and crappie.

Saltwater: Dolphin

Freshwater: Bluegill (I've heard about lake trout and walleye, but haven't had them)

White Perch, Crappie, Papermouth, Sac-a-lait, Pomoxis annularis  ;D

Perch, Salmon, Trout, and Walleye all our located abundantly in my area. :P

Also, Bluegill is very good.. most people dont know that and overlook them but if you havent tasted it you are missing out big time.

Fish I absolutely cant stand to eat are (in order) Cat Fish, Muskie, Pike, and Bass. Bass dont taste too bad but I admire them too much to eat them.

Grilled Salmon, Dolphin, Yellow Fin Tuna, Fried Flounder and Fried Catfish.

Hey Big T, you better tell them you mean Mahi-Mahi...... Not Flipper :-)

My favorites are all so different, it's like comparing apples to oranges, so I can't really give you any particular order, but I love these fish (when fresh, and prepared correctly)

Salmon, Halibut, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Catfish (Channels and Flathead), Crappie, Sturgeon....

I hate Bass, both Largemouths and Stripers.... Oh, and Sea Bass too. All bass just taste too fishy for me. Trout.... well.... It's okay sometimes, but I'd rather leave them for the bass to eat, then C/R the bass when they get huge, and go home to a dinner of anything from my above list :-)

Peace,

Fish

Hey Fish Chris, you are right I should have said Mahi instead of dolphin(not Flipper). :) , I take it forgranted that everyone knows what the Dolphin fish is, too much time in the saltwater fishing scene. :)  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention red drum. They are pretty tasty but I usually release those guys because the stock is so heavly fished.

Has to be pan-fried walleye fillets, hands-down !

No love for the flounder????mmm flounder, and i love tuna and salmon but in raw in sushi
