......a big pike! I caught this fish today on a Megabass Vision 110 and 10lb. line (sufix siege). It weighed 17.6lbs.

That thing is a BEAST. I want to go visit your country you seem to get so many large interesting fish. So far from you I have seen this pike, huge river cub, huge perch, huge carp, and some very nice bass. Its either the fishing is amazing where you live or your gods gift to fishing...most likely both :)

Now that's a nice pike!!! My biggest is 37", a far cry from yours. Must have been alot of fun fighting that beast.

Saw a guy last weekend in a kayak getting pulled by pike he hooked. it was about 42 inchs, he caught it using live bait

awesome catch dude..thay are tons of fun..i never caught one that big tho...biggest for me was about 34 inches

I was actually fishing for bass with my Daiwa Fuego (spinning) with no leader and 10lb. test mono. Yeah, the reel got a good workout!

Great pike, I catch many of them fishing for bass as well, got a new pb myself last week of 39". IMHO they fight WAY better than bass. Some days when your catching hammerhandles all day long they get annoying, but latch into a decent one and you know you got some thing.

I could not smile because my knees where shaking!  ;D

Now that's a pike!! Holy smokes :o My best is only 6lbs.
