Well it was a beautiful day here on the treasure coast so I ventured out to try my luck.

Actually it was a good thing it was so nice out, because the bassies were not bitin' so good.

I did manage a few decent ones and a surprise catch as well.

Man, those ratLtraps will catch anything.  This critter was hooked in the mouth and the neck......go figure.

good job man.  that has got to be one fast turtle to catch that rattletrap.  if your reel was 6.3:1, he had to be at least 6.4.

It was strange yesterday. I was getting alot of good hits on topwaters but they weren't really taking the baits just sort of swatting at em. I must have had six strikes but could not hook one on top. I was using an original zara spook, then switched to a sammy and finally two different poppers.....nuttin........swim senko saved the day.
