super day with new pb for lil' em!

Featured Replies

i am so pumped!   i went with the young 'un today and boy did we ever whack 'em.  the best part was that we accomplished my biggest bassin' goal for '08, a new pb for my favorite fishin' buddy.  first we went after some bluegill and cats.  she caught a bunch of gills and we tag teamed a nice channel, probably about 6 pounds.  then (with a small assist from daddy), she got her biggest bass ever, a 6-0, beating her old pb by a pound. :)   she was very excited about it too, and promptly named her lunker "swimmy" before releasing her.  what a great day. hope y'all are catchin' some too.  here's "swimmy". :)

here's the catfish.  she had to help me out with this one.  it was way too strong for me to reel in all by myself. ;)

and ol' dad even managed to get lucky and catch a nice fish himself. ;)

Fantastic fish for dad and daughter.  Way to get your daughter out and hooked Paul.  And like many of your pictures, that fish looks way bigger than 6 lbs, and does not even fill out the frame like your other pictures.

Either way well done!

Awesome day man, and good pictures.  That fish has to be bigger then 6lbs.

Great day for the 2 of you !!!

                   As Ever,

Nice job Paul, congrats to you and your daughter.

whackin em as ever Paul!  ::)

If Emily starts bustin em like you in those gold mines you call honey holes... well... leave some for the rest of us!

Geez, even your daughter can take pics where 6lbers look 9-10lbs.  She has several of the members on here beat.  Your very lucky she enjoys going out with you so much.  Very nice fish.

Thanks for posting. I always enjoy reading about your fishing trips.
