I fished March 1 in 42 degree water and 38 air temp, I fished same water March 7 in 59 degree water and 82 air temp. Today it is 78 degrees and the high for Friday is low 40's. This is killing the old bones. Al Gore is making all this happen. :

Well, with the time change, potentially I could sneak out to a few ponds after work for an hour or so.  But as the temperature is expected to drop back down into the 30's by tomorrow, that'll have to wait a few more days.

I'd say to be hitting the water temps as most of the southern guys are fishing right now, we need to be fishing warm water discharge areas!  ;D  Remember, Maryland is located is the NorthEast section too.  

That is true, but the cold water is fine for me.

Heres a story for you.We have been busting them on beds since late January and smacking them on frogs and spooks all this month too ;D

Don't look for excuses just put your time in, it will happen.  Yesterday was a poor day, couldn't get a hit.  Normally I go bout 5 bass an hour.  Bluebird day, so to buck conventional wisdom I go top lure at 1:00 hot bright day(that's an old wives's tale)..........and BAAAAAAAAMMMMMM.

We all going to get an eye opener today or tommorrow. Highs in this area until Sunday supposed to be about 50, lows high 30s to low40s. Time to break back out all the gear.
