Matt was gracious enough to send me a couple baits to test out.  These things are nuts!  The detail, quality of construction, and the action.  That action....you have a winner on your hands my friend!

I was supposed to test this lure out in Brazil on peacocks.  That will now have to wait til end of February.  Matt sent me this pirahna colored swimbait, complete with the front dorsal fin shaved off.  I think it looks fantastic!

I then received this lure, day before I was supposed to leave.  Male bluegill.  These baits come equiped with 3X hooks, and the finish looks extremely sturdy as well.  The detail though, is just awesome!

They swim straight, create a fantastic wake, and will do a complete 180 if you stop the bait mid crank.  Regardless of how fast you reel it in, it swims true.

Congratulations Matt,  seriously impressive bait!

They are a great looking bait Robert.

I got one of the male bluegills about two weeks ago.  I spent most of the day at work waiting for the thing to flip off my desk.

Completely sick bait.  This thing is gonna put fish in the boat.  Period.

These look great. Does anyone know when they will hit the market?

Fantastic baits....

They look like they just came out pf the water!

That Pirahna is a sweet idea!  Will you be at the Bass-a-thon with them this weekend Matt?  You coming down this weekend Robert? (Don't mean to take the thread to a different subject)

Unbelievable looking baits.  Definitely would like to get some of these for next year...completely life like appearance....The soft baits look amazing too.  And all that for a fair price...a good deal all around IMO...

Here are the available finishes.  Matt have you set a retail price yet?  I believe these lures will be made available at the show in Anaheim.

Infidel,

I was planning on attending but at this point not sure if I will be able to make it.

You aint kidding! I wish the market would bounce back.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. These baits are a pain to make. They just take forever comparred to soft baits.

I will be at the Bass a thon so I hope to meet some of you guys.

Come by and say hi!

I have decided that i am going to be a big fish guy next year and I am going to be throwing mostly swim baits and big jigs. However my question is what are your hook up ratios with these baits. Also is there any chance that you will come out with a yellow perch color for some Lake Erie pigs.

Man, this is worse then waiting for Chistmas as a child! :-/ Can't wait!!!!!! I'd be willing to trade my left leg for one of these,at least I'd still be able to fish it! This may just be the perfect swimbait for us New Englanders! I know that one of my rods will always have one tied on :D

I will definetly be purchasing at least one of these awesome baits. The Bluegill looks insane. Nice work!!

wow. That bluegill's finish is downright unbelievable.

X2

All you have to do is head down to Anahiem CA and fork out $50.  :D
