Well folks, as I write this, the new forums have been open exactly 2 weeks.  Since then, 96 members have registered and posted over 600 messages.

By comparison, we had less than 300 messages posted on the old forums for the entire summer!

Thank you all for coming aboard and sharing your knowledge!  I can't tell you how impressed I am with the great questions and detailed answers I'm seeing.

Y'all are great!

Glenn

I love this site.  I 'invented fishing' (aka, learned how to fish) this summer and man... this place is just a plethra of knowledge.  Just ask a question and people pour info out to you!

I agree. This site is were I learned how to fish. When I first began fishing,( about 9 years ago), I came to this site for info. I hope that this forum does not slow down with age. This is a GREAT web site.

Glenn, your "baby" isn't a "baby" anymore!!

I learned a long time ago that if you open up your arms, please will walk right on it.

That's apparently what's been happening here.

Bassresource.com ROCKS!

I have been on here since last Dec and I have taken all the other forums out of my favorites.  Why go anyplace else when you can get all the answers you need right here, and I still need a lot of answers :o  Great job, well done Glenn

ive been a member of this forum for a little over 7 months... i think.  anyway ive seen a lot of new members join, and veteran members stay, and the well of knowledge has soared, everyone has something to contribute.  i am greatful that people on this forum are open and are willing to share thier honest views and tactics to help the less experienced or those in a slump.  thank you, for everyones contributions, i have become a better and more educated angler because of you.  Props to Glenn!

I've been a member since July 6th.

And I spend about 3 hrs a day here.

Does that make me an addict??? ::)

The people on this forum rock!!! You all have made  my learning curve a lot shorter than it would have been had I not found this place.

Glenn you are doing an awesome job, thanks for such a great site!!

There must be a lot of new members from my area. They join here and learn good tips and then clean out all the local spots. Now I know why the fish have been scarce the last two weeks. The good thing about that is that now I have to dig deeper into the tackle box and try new stuff.

I found this site through bassboatmagazine.com, which is also a great site, but this one is talored precisely to my needs. In fact, I had just gotten started with BBM, and once I found this place, I think I have only checked in once!

This site is great! *thumbs up to Glenn*

Now that I've been here a bit, I notice the BR link on so many other homepages.  Reputable tackle companies, club sites, it's everywhere!

I joined about a little over three weeks ago. Great forum. Knowledge out the wazoo. If I had found it before I probably would have registered.

Better late than never ;D

This forum is hands down the best I've ever found. There's something about being able to learn in a fun atmosphere that just makes you want to keep coming back. Plus it kind of scratches that fishing itch when you can't actually be out on the water.

well I havn't been a newbie for awhile however I don't mind being one here, I stumbled on this site through the links on *** and I'm glad I did.

Glenn You are obviously a knight of the new republic as am I I'm in upstate New York and always looking to learn and help learn. look forward to many happy postings ;D ;D

p.s. you need a Vader pic for the corner
