I know this  dont cover them all but prob the most prominate places we fish!! Any other places that are your go too spots aside from actual patterns ?? I myself start in a weedy shallow areas then proceed or stay depending on how it is there.

I think everywhere you listed is a good place for some bass to stage, sometimes!

I enjoy fishing shallow water mostly, with wood and weedy cover.  I chose the first option, shallow with wood.  I just found a great place with a large dead tree fallen in the shallow water I intend on fishing when I go out.  

Shallow with weeds for quantity.  Medium with wood for "biguns".

I love to find weedy flats with a hole that drops 3-4 feet.  I just drag the worm across the weeds and let it fall into the hole.

I need to up my talent level on the remainder of the types

I chose the second option, since I am a jig pitching nut. Although nothing gets my heart pounding faster than a hog in shallow water getting ready to explode on a topwater plug!!!

I will take any of those since I live in Florida and fish mostly mud bowls with no cover!!!

3-6ft with logs stumps anthing like that for good bass hiding spots and ambush points.
