Follow-Up: How Many Lures Do You "USE?"

Well, ten is probably how many I need, too!

How many lures do you "use"?

Not counting jigs and soft plastics, I doubt that I will use ten different lures at Lake Fork. So, I'm just trying to narrow the selection down to one-hundred and fifty hard baits and about the same number of soft baits.

That's reasonable, isn't it?

For decades I toted around Raul's truckload of lures (actually two truckloads: one for my wife and one for myself).

Only after merciless culling was I able to condense those two monstrosities.

Today, the bulk of my bassing is done with "10 basic lures" and I carry them in one small tackle box.

Eight out of ten are weedless, soft-plastic lures; I shrunk my hardbait arsenal to a pulp (and luvin it).

Surface Lures: 3

Mid-Water Lures: 4

Bottom Lures:      3
