Fess up, your smallest fish last year...

Featured Replies

We all know we want to catch the biggest fish, and the most fish, but sometimes...well, maybe most of the time, the fish don't care what you want.

I picked up my 721 casting rod and thought I would see how it worked with my litttle 01 Rapala countdown minnows. I went over to a fairly well known Crappie hole to see if anything was there. About 20 cast's into my search, I felt what I thought was the lure catching a weed. I thought nothing of it and kept cranking the lure in. I started to notice the line tracking slightly to the right. I got the lure up to the boat, and...THERE'S A FISH ON. I kid you not, this LMB was so small, I think the treble hook was actually prying his/her mouth open farther than normal. The fish fell off before I could grab it, but I would say the fish was very close to 3 times the length of the little 1 inch lure. I did find out that the rod is not that good for cranks either. Glad I got my 721 spinning rod to try.

A smallmouth that struggled to reach the four inch mark on the tape. It slammed a silver/blue 08 Husky Jerk.

Yo Zuri Ratlin Vibe.....the bait is bigger than it's mouth. I call this one "What were you thinking?"

This one hit a 1/4 oz jig...proof that jigs don't always produce huge fish  ;)

Around 4 inches. Caught it on a 3" trick stick. Crazy.

I took my girls trout fishing last summer. My oldest was yelling, "I got one!". I ran over and she had the smallest bass I have ever seen on. This bass had a diaper on it was so small no more than 4" long. We kid my oldest that she has "the record".

Last summer I caught a 2.5-3" smallie on an X-Rap.  He was hooked in the mouth, but it definitely snagged him.  He was probably curious, and got in the way of one of my violent twitches   8-)

Beast and Crestliner one question comes to mind.....

Got any Ritz!!!!!  ;D

That is too much!!!!!

I know that my smallest is nowhere close to most of your guys but i will post for the sake of participation
