Great read! Thanks. :)

He says one very important thing.  Fish where most of the boats you see are sitting.  I try this when on the lake but it's tough when you want more bites.  It does pay off very well to do this though.  Why is it that the big bass seem to stay back some?  It's as if they do the same thing that big bucks do.  They let the smaller ones take the chances while they hang back to assess the situation first.

Good article.

I really fell bad that he has to weed through 5-8 pounders to get a ten.

When we were there two years ago for the 2nd BassResource.com

Roadtrip, conditions were tough. Still, most guys caught a few bass,

including Glenn and Keri who both boated PBs! As I recall, Glenn's

fish was 9-2 and Keri's was 7-6.

As a bonus, next time you see a post from flechero, I was fishing

with him when he took the picture in his avatar. We spent a little

time "playing" with that big girl!

Everyone should visit Lake Fork someday, the lake lives up to its

reputation. Combined with a great guide like Tom, there is the potential

for the "Trip of a Lifetime".

8-)

Well...

Hmmmm, that picture at the top looks familiar. ::)

(I took that picture of Tom when my brother and I went to fish Fork with him.)

Great Guide and a Great Guy.
