A 11# catfish while bass fishing.  She was everybit of 30+ inches.  What sucks is I thought it was a GIANT bass because it was fighting so hard and got really excited till my dad netted it.... then I was like WT.H.

Caught bigger saltwater fish though

I caught an 89 lb spoonbill (paddlefish) in Oklahoma about 15 years ago. Not sure about the length, but it was over 60" for sure!

48" musky trolling a spoonplug on small lake in northeastern Ill.

30-40 inches

Caught a big old mud cat out of the Monongahelia River in Pittsburgh, PA that went about 10+ lbs. Caught it on a Mepps Bucktailed Spinner near a sewer outlet and some guy asked me if I was going to eat it. I said heck no and he asked for it. I gave it to him. We need a barf smiley for such things.  :o

43" striper caught in the delaware river. We were using live herring.

Mine is a 45' 25lb musky caught on the Potomac, on top water. Now that was fun!  ;D

Caught a grass carp over 50lb last year on a Mulberry!  Saw them feeding on the berries that were falling into the water from the tree so I gathered some up and skewered one on a Mosquito hook on my UL with 4lb fireline and cast it under the tree.  Had a hit immediatly and had to follow the fish with the trolling motor for a while before landing it.  Bottomed out my 50lb scale easily.  Shallow sandy lake with no structure for him to get into was the only reason I landed him on such light line.

Just 1-pound shy of Florida's certified record (Remarkable!)

From what I'm reading, big bass are showing up again on Panasoffkee (low for years).

A monster blue catfish in NC while slow rolling a spinnerbait in 25ft of water! Well over 30lbs on my scale!

Why do you start a poll by polling only for the length of the fish caught and then immediately asking WHERE it was caught?  ::)  Make up your mind.

35" ,25# flathead catfish caught at Lake Pleasant north of Phoenix Arizona. Caught on a Quantum Mantra reel and Quantum mediun weight rod with 12# test line.
