In Need Of A Little Help, Please

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new members

that make the effort to introduce themselves. If you would just

occasionally post a Welcome! note in the Introduction Section,

we would really appreciate everyone's participation. You don't

need to make this a part of your routine, just once in awhile

would be great.

Thank you!

I'm horrible about this...  I am in such a routine that i go to a few areas, in the same order each day... and never (rarely) even notice the intro section.

I will make an effort to stop in there, with some regularity.

I got out of the habit, yea your right! I will get on it over the weekend

It's the second stop on my daily rounds.

Just like Flechero, I have a routine of certain forum sections that I visit. Stopped in there today and made a few posts. I'll be sure to include it in my daily visits ;)

Ya know, I used to make it a point everytime I was on, and I have no clue why Ive stopped.  I will make the effort.

You're right, I think many of us "forget" about the introductions section after we've introduced ourselves.

I've noticed that on most forums there are a handful of members who are always first to greet a new member.  Most of the rest of us introduce ourselves, but then move on to all the other forum sections that interest us and those are the areas we frequent each time we come on.

People do appreciate being welcomed to a new site, and I'm sure the more response they get in that section, the more likely they are to recheck that section and post welcomes to others.

I'll definitely make it a point to get that section into my usual rounds through the boards.

We have a great free resource in this website and forum.  A welcome to new members is the least we can do.   ;)

How big of a mutt am I. I never even introduced myself nevermind welcome anyone. Just kind of elbowed my way in.

I guess this is a good time to do it over there.

Sorry about that RW. You guys run a GREAT site.

I complete ignore that section sometimes! I will change my evil ways though!!!!

I just hit up about 12 of them, but I'll try a little harder to check out a few everyday from now on. ;)

Thanks guys!

We have more than doubled the participation, but we would

still like more! It might not seem like a big deal, but the new

guys that take the time to introduce themselves appreciate

the welcome.
