The guy states that the table in the gazebo has a trolling motor under it and the table has a fish finder permantly mounted as well.

I was going to build the Gazebo on the edge of my dock down by

the lake but I thought I might just as well build the deck with floats

on it and I can then take it out fishing too...It has 15,000# capacity.

The deck is 18ft x 18ft with 12 plastic foam filled dock floats that are

4ft x 4ft by 18 inches high and the Gazebo is 10 ft. Hexagon with a

table and chairs. Inside, under the table is my trolling motor so I can take

it out to my favorite fishing hole.. The trolling motor is remote controlled

wireless so I can be fishing outside and operate the motor.

On the top of the table I have a LOWRANCE Fish-Finder with depth

sounding sonar's and temp gauge. I have 2 electric winches with 40# anchors.

I have also built in a water pump so I can clean the fish right on the spot.

Now I can relax and fish while my wife can sit, watch TV and relax.

looks very comfortable. Good in the rain even. Not much of a hole shot for tournament fishing one would bet. ;D ;D

That is really wild, and creative.

But, a trolling motor under the table, which I assume is nearly centered on the craft/houseboat?

It has to be a real bear to handle, not to mention its short range.  Even a slight breeze would exert more than a hundred pounds of force against such a large surface.

But, it is designed for comfort and short runs to a favorite fishing hole.  Speed, handling, and range is not of the essence.

I wonder how it is classified regarding taxes.

Is it a building, or a boat?  If it were here in Massachusetts, it would probably be taxed as both, and require registration.

Where would the numbers go?  They have to be affixed to the bow.  Does it have a holding tank?  Do local building codes apply?

Is it sturdy enough for whitewater rafting?

The possibilities are endless.

Nonetheless, I like it.  All it needs is a crooked stovepipe through the roof to go with the weathervane.

No way, checkout that lighting rod on the top, how many would want to be out on the water in that rig and a storm hits, with just that trolling motor you are a sitting duck for disaster.

All you need to become "self sufficient" is annother  "platform"(???) with a barbecue pit on it ...Towed by the "Gazebo boat"

If that is redneck, then that is a redneck with a lot of stock in Budweiser.  It looks like he put a lot of time, thought and money into that one.  Probably the same for the Alabama one too.  At least the time and thought.

I wonder if it would work for ice fishing too.  Just have to make sure it's in the spot you want before the first freeze.  Drill the hole right where the trolling motor goes!
