There is a weight article on this site to use to estimate the weight of your bass.

Here is the formula I use:

Estimating Weight of a Largemouth Bass

Formula that will give you a close approximation of the bass' weight.

LENGTH x LENGTH x GRITH = WEIGHT IN POUNDS

                1200

Length means the total length in inches from the tip of the jaw to the longest part of the tail.

Girth is measured in inches around the thickest part of the body

25 inch bass with a 20-inch girth:

25 x 25 x 20 = 10.42 Pounds

      1200

Try using this formula to estimate weight of your bass.  :)

It's bigger than most of the ones I usually catch. So that puts the weight over 1 pound :).

4 1/2 to 5 1/2 lbs. Great looking fish.

I am not good at guessing wt. of fish.Nice Bass, though.

im actually going to say 5.5 or 6.

looks to be 18 to 22 inches or so... but its pretty fat too.... so......

Tops it would be is 5 pounds, at best.

Here's the best formula to figure a fish's weight:

BUY A SCALE .

An eye will lie; a scale doesn't.

Some where between 1-5 lbs.

;D ;D ;D

That bass is definitely over 4 pounds, I don't know where people get off saying that bass is less than 4. I would guess between 4.5 -5.5 unless you're a really tall guy.

As long as we're on the subject, I didn't have a scale either and am curious of what it wieghed.

exactly.  you CANNOT estimate weight from a picture, bottom line, don't care what anyone says.

Largemouth, maybe 5. Smallmouth, maybe 2 3/4. The eyes don't lie!!

Don't know but it sure is purty.

didn't have a scale on hand. on shore with 2lb test.

I'd say 5.0-5.5lbs.

I would say between 4-6 lbs.

5 and a half to 6. maybe 6 and a half.the smallie looked like a good 3 maybe 3 and a half pounder
