Featured Replies

if you had to pick 4 or 5 crank bait colors what would they be:

Id have to say:

sexy shad

red craw

fire-tiger

rootbeer

The one color i like to through is the Ghost minnow. It works very well for me. another color i have luck on is a red-craw. I use the red craw when its muddy, in shallow water.

Choose any other color you like and you are in business.

Of course, there are tons of other pretty colors, patterns, finishes The BaitMonkey says you should have and you should have them because he says so, but with those 4 plus another you can pretty much fish anywhere.

I carry no more than two colors. One is muted, like shad or bluegill, the other is louder, like firetiger. Of course, I could be 100% wrong but I just don't see more colors resulting in more fish for me over the course of a season.

I would have to say:

1. Firetiger

2. Blue back lighter color belly

3. Sexy Shad

4. Crawfish color or something red

5. Any other color you want
