Hello all

just wanted to say i'm glad i found your site and already i've been welcomed by several people. I'm retired Navy and getting ready to retire from my second career and do some serious Bass Fishing. I bought some property next to Lake russell, lake hartwell and clark hill on the savana river on the georgia side next to Elberton ga. although i've fished lake russell a little bit i'm open for any info anyone can give me on these lakes. I grew up in western NC and fished for smallmouth in lake Lure, and at present i'm living just south of washington DC and fish the Potomac river and also some lakes and rivers in virginia. once agin just wanted to say hello and to thank you for the great website. Good luck Fishing......Danny Freeman, Dameron, Md. ;D

Welcome. I live on the southern end of Clarks Hill. You have picked a great place to retire. We'll have to hook up some time for a day on the lake.

Dan,

Welcome to the board and Merry Christmas!

I live in southwestern VA, not far from the NC border near Mt. Airy.  If you're ever back in the WNC area visiting and want to hit the water, let me know.  I fish Kerr Scott in Wilkesboro some and am open to heading to other lakes.

Regards,

Hillbilly

Merry Christmas and welcome aboard!

p.s. great first post
