Hi everybody.

I have been reading these boards for a month or so and just had to sign up. I look forward to swapping stories with everyone.

Been fishing my whole life and finally got my first boat and been having a blast.

    Olebiker - Yes on the beer. It's like American Express ( Dont leave home without it).

    Roseangler - I don't think I can come up with the fish tales like some of these other guys, but I will tell you about last Sunday.

    I took my wife fishing with me for the third time.

    The first two times fishing she caught a couple of small ones and seemed to be going through the motions to please me.

    But on Sunday she caught a 4lb 11oz LM that put up a big fight and a bigger smile on her face.

    I think I have a new fishing partner for life now.

    I have been fishing a lot on lake tarpon.

    My brother lives on the lake, so I kinda have a couple fishing partners.

    I got my boat in June and have been on the lake every weekend since.

    I got skunked the first time out, 1 small one the second time out, but now  I am starting to figure it out.

    Two weeks ago went out for about 6 hours and put 8 LM on the boat(and then released) and my brother put 5 on the boat.

    We also missed a few others.

    I caught one that day that weighed about 5.5 lbs ( I bought my scale later that day so that is an estimate) but it was bigger than the one my wife caught.

    If I ever get this computer thing figured out I will try to post a picture or 2.
