Hello,

Haven't fished since my late teens, my daughter asked me to take her out the other day.  It was like to kids hanging out together.  We fished from shore (no Boat,) hoping to change that.  If anyone has a couple shore spots in the St. Clair Shores area or Grosse pointe let me know.

    Have you tried Metro Beach? A little further north is the Harley Ensign Public Access.(at the end of South River Road)  If you don't mind traveling a little more, there is the Public Access just outside the main gate of Selfridge Air National Guard Base. A little further north is Brandenburg Park, they have a LONG pier, and shore fishing opportunities.

    Just a few ideas.

    P.S. I just remembered, if you live in St. Clair Shores, you can get a pass from the city and fish at the park at the end of Masonic Blvd.
