You're kidding right? There are always maximum punishments set up for each law. These guys deserve what the judge gives them.

I am just SOOOO glad that they are not Mexican or Hispanic descent. I hear a lot of people complain that they always take everything they catch. That would have just about put a nail on the coffin for that stereotype.

I am Guatemalan and that is something I DO NOT want to be stuck with every time I go out fishing...

Take the boats and all tackle

Take the vehicles used to haul the boats

Give them jail time

Revoke all hunting and fishing license in home states.

These guys should never have the opportunity to ever enjoy the fishing and hunting privileges that we all try to protect.

Agree with you guys, for them to come up to Erie and poach smallies - they must be serious enough bass fishermen. Plus they released the walleyes?? I'd rather eat a walleye!

Fine 'em all to repay costs for time staking them out, revoke fishing and hunting privileges for life, and sell their tackle or donate to some youth group.

As for the old timers. shesh. if they were old men fishing off shore catching one or two and getting busted...sure its the law, but i'd say give them a break. no excuse for the law, but slap on the wrist. but its apparent these are avid fishermen catching that man bass in a couple days. what in the world are they going to do with that many small mouth bass anyways. on another note: where is this spot!!

With no regard like that, they deserve the fullest punishment under the law. I just wish it applied to the CDOW and USFWS for what they are doing in my state, killing largemouth and smallmouth in our rivers and leaving them to rot on the banks.

IT ALREADY IS A STEREOTYPE. As a matter of fact, TONS of people already say it at my fishing club. They crap on "Mexicans" or any "Mexican" looking people for doing exactly what I said. They complain that they use fisheries, trash them and take out all the fish to feed their families.

Can one of you PLEASE explain to me how this is remotely close to being raciest?
