This year will be the jig/ pig. I'm trying to break away from just only using wacky.

Why know shaky head on the poll. I guess that can be other or would you still consider that a worm?

I gotta throw a wacky or T rigged senko at 'em. Followed by a tube or a salleemander. Me and jigs just don't get along right now.

At those temps, the only choice for me would be a jig.

I will throw a jig around timber anytime, but this year I have been flipping a beaver around timber and having a lot more luck with it then with a jig. But I will always start with a jig.

Jig on a heavy action rod. You don't want to go light around timber.

i would use a craw imitator, something with straight claws. If i throw a chigger craw i may trim the claws down a tad.
