Hello everyone.....

Since you all helped me on the tube question I have another one for yall

How do you keep the skirts on spinnerbaits and jigs?  It seems like after several uses or over the winter, the rubber bands dry rot and I try to fix them up and it doesn't seem to work right.  Is there any special heavy duty bands to use or do you think I could use like small zip ties or something??    Seems to always happen on spinner baits and the jigs.

Pick up the smallest plastic wire ties you can at you local hardware store and cinch around the skirt before even using it.

Tiny Zip-Ties & a Zip-Tie Gun

2.5" piece of small wire and wrap it around a couple times.  Twist the wire together a couple times and bam  wire tied jig.

Zip ties or small dia. wire will do the trick!

I prefer zip ties myself.

I've also heard of people using braid to secure the skirts as well.

I use bread twisties they come in diff colors too

I use Super Glue

If you own a jig long enough for the collar to dry-rot, you aren't fishing your jigs in the right spots.

Thanks a lot for all your information.    The problem i have with them is storing them over the winter months.  Ive just started using jigs on a regular basis.   Still havent had much success with them.
