Favorite shallow running crankbait 1-3 ft.

Recommended Posts

I caught my PB on a Norman Fat Boy, bluegill pattern.

Other suggestions include Bomber Square A,

Bagley BII, Lucky Craft (Rick Clunn) 1.5, 2.5

& 3.5 and the Fat CB series.

8-)

Lucky Craft RC 1.5.  Don't be scared of the $15 price tag this bait will flat-out catch you fish, worth every penny and more.

Strike King 4S or Mann's Elite C-4.

For smaller I like Strike King Series 1 or Bagleys Balsa B2.

There are a lot of good subsurface cranks out there, my favorite is no longer made: Rapala Shallow Fat Rap, man, those are feesh ketchin machines.  ;)

The RC 1.5 is my alltiime favorite but don't overlook the RC 0.5 in the Ghost minnow color which has bailed me out a few times when fishing clear water on sunny days.

Not much love for the Mann's Baby -1.  By far my most productive shallow crank.  Any of the firetiger colors are my favorite.

The RC is well over twice the money.  I have been getting the baby -1 for $3 at my local Dicks.  Doing well with them too.

Like others have said, the RC 1.5 is my favorite. I like the Copper Green color the best.
