Your #1 Bait

Featured Replies

Ok so lets say you go to a tournament, on a lake you have never fished, and you can only bring one bait to use the whole time, what would it be?

Mine would be the Spro Frog Jr Night Walker, I always bring a seperate pole tied with one of these, no matter where I fish. It has become my go to bait where ever I am fishing.

After watching the guy I went with last weekend pull a nice sized bass (for around here anyways) literally off the first cast? Then proceed to get 6 more just like it by 10 am?

Sweet beaver.

Rage craw in black and blue with a 1/8oz pegged weight or a screaming eagle war eagle spinnerbait in white.

This thread again... :D The final verdict will be a jig, but a Shaky head would be my choice.

I would have to say Jig since I can fish all year around and get bit.

3/16 Slider Spider Head and a 4" straight tail worm

I would say shaky head with a zoom finesse worm, but I cant stand finesse fishing.....SOOO I would go with Norman deep little N

1/4 oz jig + rage craw.

So versatile, and catches fish of all sizes

give me either a bonehead 3/8 black/blue jig with trailer, or a t-rigged 8'' worm in something dark!!

Jeff

no matter, that try to use only one lure is just theorically, but impossible knowing the influence of the bait monkey ! I would say a 6" zoom lizard in any watermelon shape.

But I recognize there's no lure that work 100% of the time

David :)

As of lately I would say a Madd Man craw worm on a shaky head

Mine would be this Jig paired with a green pumpkin rage chunk dipped in clear JJ's Magic and finished off with a little chartruse JJ's on the tips.

Eakins flipping jig in missouri craw with a trimmed down YUM craw on the back. I don't know of a situation I couldn't catch a fish on that combo.

Right now it would be the Rage Tail 10" Thumper.

Would have to say the Fat Ika right now. Been killing them with it!

A 1/4 oz green orange finesse jig with a green pumpkin ultravibe speed craw on the back. Performs as a regular jig and a swim jig and catches the big uns.

Either Jig or spinnerbait....... both could cover just about all situations.....

Held me to the fire on it..... Jig

Yamamoto double-tail hula grub, green pumpkin w/black, 1/8 oz texas rigged. dipped in clear JJ's.

very versatile....fish it like a jig or swim it....

right now, in the dead of summer....big ole black n blue jig n craw

4" cut tail trigged weightless or on a shakey head. Shhh.

A Jig all day. Or maybe a drop shot that's a close second for me.
