Why wouldn't they be fat?

Most of them sit in cars the majority of the time.

We got a hefty county cop where I live very close friend of mine and let me tell yeah that man can move he's not like super fast but faster then most I'd hate to have him chasing me.

As far as army standards we got a few fattys in my company they already been told there gonna mostly be gate guard or tower guard and this deployment is gonna suck for them. I'm not as small as I used to be but am no means fat 5'9 195lbs I blow the push up s and sit ups out of th water but my run sucks I pass but iv never been a runner not even my 135lb high school days. Where I excell is rucking but some them guys in them pics I doubt they could even get a ruck or even armor over that my god that's disgusting

Bassn Blvd I cant believe you have never seen a fat cop. I see them all the time. Were I use to live in Iowa. The sheriff was the fattest one on the force in the whole county. Now living in WI I see them more. A few winters ago I broke down and a woman about 5x5 ran my drivers License. I think the only non fat cops I see are State patrol.

You guys are killing me. It was supposed to be humorous, and not a poke at law enforcement.

And yes, I have seen fat cops. I am a cop.

I spent part of this morning at the Sheriff's Office and saw more than my share of..ahem..."husky" deputies. As long as they can still get the job done, rock on.

There are fitness tests you have to pass to get the job but then there isn't any more fitness tests after that, at least none I have ever had to do. I try to stay in shape because my life may depend on it. It's like any job, you'll have some people in shape and some out of shape. We have some good looking female deputies, some better than good looking, and we have some that make you cringe when you look at them. As long as they can do the job expected of them then it's their life, if they can't do the job then it may be my or someone else's life and they need to get it under control. I can say our department does at least have insentitives for staying in shape and does provide us with a nice, free gym that's open 24/7.

I think it might have something to do with their compulsory military service. All Israeli citizens over 18 have to enlist, so they get the good looking "girly girls" that wouldn't have enlisted otherwise.
