I like some of them, not a fan of others. They take a beating, so if you're hard on your rods they are a good option. They aren't the lightest offering at that price range. Just because they're labeled for a technique doesn't mean they can't be used for something else. I have the 7' MH "spinnerbait" rod, I've never thrown a spinnerbait on it but it does work pretty well for a pitching rod. If you like the feel of them I'd go for it.

I have 2 of them for soft plastic fishing and love them. The are by no means the best rods but they are inexpensive and a great rod to start with

I have the topwater rod and it is a really good "all around" rod. I have a Citica E on it.

OOOH!! If this clearance is like the clearance back in January have them ring-up the price. St Croix rods were clearance and then 50% off clearance price but not mentioned. Bought two Premiers for $24 each!!!

i think those labels are nothing more than a fart in the wind. truth told i though the Wright yellow sticks were a much better rod, but to each their own. i might have liked the series more had i tried a rod under 7'.

Picked up one at Cabelas bargain cave a couple years ago. Best 20 bucks I ever spent.

Fenwick HMG series are comprable in price and I feel they are a nicer rod.

I was told by a Dicks associate working in the fishing section that the Mojo Bass rods were the same blanks as the Premier series, with different labels. Not sure if the guides are different, i think the handles are if my memory is correct. Im considering picking up either the Mojo or the Premier myself soon.

If paying full price for Premier $120-$130 another rod to check is the Quantum Smoke rod. I have both Premier MH/F & Smoke M/F like the Smoke better. A 7' M/F Premier weighs 4.2oz -7' M/F Smoke 3.4oz. I feel the Smoke has better sensitivity as well. Dragging senko on the bottom just get more feeback. Feel senko wobble better/more from a twitch. The Smoke guides are much less noisy(nearly quiet) with braid but my Premier sounds like violin with Suffix PB on.

The reelseats are different though so deffinately try the Smoke out to feel the seat if it likeable to you some dont like it others do.

Oh one negative when I use spro frog is the Smoke micro-guide tip will get plugged at times fishing braid in slop. In this specific its the only downside Ive noticed with micros.

The Mojo, Premier, and Triumph are pretty much the same blank, but the rest of the components may vary a bit from one model to the next.

They're not necessarily bad rods, but I think there are definitely lighter and more sensitive rods out there for the same price.

The Mojo & Triumph rods are made in Mexico

The Premier is made in the US....

Triumph - Made in Mexico, Paint job, Black Guide Frames, Full Cork, ECS or TCS Reel Seats

Mojo - Made in Mexico, Paint job, Black Chrome Guide Frames, Split Grip Only, ECS Reel Seats

Premier - Made in USA, Paint job, Black Chrome Guide Frames, Full Cork and Several Split Models, ECS or TCS Reel Seats

They all have:

Baston Forcast Hard Aluminum Oxide Guides

Spinning Models have DPS Seats

I have the 6' 6'' MH F jig and worm. And I use it with soft plastics. No problems here....very happy with it.
