I've just returned from my local pond, the fishing has been tough so tonight I pull out the senkos.  I'm no expert with these things for sure, I caught six in about an hour, best bite all year.  I typically use a lot of topwater on this particular pond, it has some really nice fish, typically catch a few four pounders out of it yearly.  I've noticed over time that when I use the senkos there all I catch are small bass.  I'm not knocking the bait, just wondering what is the biggest fish you have caught on the bait, I'll definitely be using them more this year.  Thanks

I use a senco alot, I seem to catch a lot of little, but also good numbers of big fish. dont catch much between 2 and 5 pounds on sencos. it is really weird now that I think of it. my 2 biggest fish this year came on sencos. a 9 and an 8.

~ 3 lber. I tend to catch more dinks on senkos as well

<----------caught this one on a Senko this past Spring. It was 6lb 2oz. I  handed my rig over to my father because my hands were shaking so bad afterwards. He then made two casts and nailed a 7lb 11oz. on the same half torn Senko......the rest of this season I've gotten dinks on them. HaHa! Big ones will eat them though!

both these were caught on sencos on orange lake, the first is me the sencond is a guy i met on the lake, spent some time near him when i saw this one.

Probably something like a 4 pounder or something - nothing memorable.  My club's AOY caught his personal best tourney fish on a senko, a 6-8 LMB, which is a very respectable NY bass.

I have no idea. Somewhere around 5 probably. I would wager that I have thrown a senko for less than an hour total in the last 4 years.

I get on average about 2 lb. bass with my sinko's. but that is when i'm using 4" worms. I dunno what'd I get if I really tried with some longer ones.

My fishing buddy Charles caught a 10lbs LargeMouth using a Watermelon Senko. I have caught an 8lbs LargeMouth (Dead Sticking a downed tree, off the boat) using the same, but on average 2-4lbs.

My biggest on a Senko (Dinger) was 6 pounds, 1 ounce. I can get a good fish on a Senko, i just takes some patience. Deadstick it.

my biggest was about 4 lbs...i think they catch many decent sized fish, but my largest ones have been on other stuff.

My biggest is 8lbs, wtrmln/red.

But this guys is Sharelunker 398, 15.5, bait, 5inch black and blue senko.

Two over six pounds on a Senko.  

Nearly all of my biggest largemouth have been caught on a Senko.

Several years ago I started using the 6" version because the 5" bait

simply attracts too many fish and the vast majority are under 5 lbs.

Moving to the 6" Senko does not eliminate dinks, but reduces

the number significantly. Catch fewer fish, catch bigger bass.

I have caught many that are 1-4 lbs and PB on a senko was 7.2 pounds on a watermelon 5" senko.  I have caught some crappie on them also.

but this magic lure is responsible for most of my tourney catches.  I almost always limit and am in the top 5.  Thank you Gary!!

Just over 5 lbs., on a pumpkin/black fleck senko.

Thanks fellas, I just recently started using Senko type baits.  I may not have the patience required yet.  I also mainly use them in my local pond.  Last night I took one rod and two packs of senkos, to force myself to fish with them.  They catch fish for sure, this year has been a slow one here, crazy weather, don't think we have had more than two weeks without rain, which is untypical.  The water never got above the mid 70's, so I've returned to fishing like I do in the spring to catch fish.  

My best on a Senko is 6.5 from under a Pontoon Boat. 5" Black/Blue Flake. The beauty of this bait is it catches anything in the area, big or small. You might need to fish it in some different locations that are known big fish hangouts.

I have been fishing the Senko since 1997, most of the time

in the same water year after year. Like other worms and jigs,

I don't think fish ever get "use to" this bait.

If you haven't fished the Fat Ika, add that to the mix. Differfent

profile and different action, but fished the same as a Senko.

Sometimes the Fat Ika is more productive and it's very unlikely

your bass have seen much of this bait.
