Well, my "Great day on the river", was pretty good, but not quite as good as today. Same Moaner Predator jig with Rage Tail Baby Craw trailer, that I was using my last outing. I also caught fish on a Tx rigger Lobster, and a drop shot today, but my two best fish, just so happen to be my two new PB's. First one was the LM, that went 8-3. about a half hour later, same jig, my biggest ever smallie, at 5-14.

I have about another month and a half before I can wet a line. Not allowed to fish rivers, brooks or streams until April 1st. The lakes are still hard but the way this winter has been going so far we might have ice out some time in March!! Usually doesn't go out until April 20th. So I've been cleaning rods and reels and blowing money on new tackle in the mean time.

is that lm blind in one eye? if so that is an absolutely incredible catch. to reach that size that far north is amazing by itself. but to reach that size that far north being blind in one eye, that fish has defied all odds. wow! both are great fish and a big congrats to ya.

My lake completely melted this week so I'm going to have to rig up some Rage Craws and hit it this weekend. I'd be thrilled to pull in fish only half that size. Great job!
