Who Hasn't Caught A Fish Yet In 2012?

Featured Replies

I haven't landed one yet, only had the chance to go out 2 or 3 times for a few minutes, mainly to mess with some stuff I got for Christmas. The weather has been pretty warm here lately so I'm hoping to get out for a good stretch this weekend.

Not me, but we're ifnally getting open water so it won't be long now!

I haven't landed anything either but only been out once this year so........................

I have not had the chance to go out - maybe this weekend.

Hey, I haven't been on the water since last September! I was once told that that the more you get into this industry, the less fishing you do. Now I believe it!

Boat's in the shop right now, adding our new Lowrance units and Power-Poles. In the mean time, we've bought a bunch of new rods, reels, lures, rod sleeves, and even new culling systems. I can't wait to hit the water and play with our new toys!!

It's time!

Just waiting on the ice to melt. One of the lakes I fish only has eight inches of ice so it won't be long. Just got two new fish finders put in humming bird SI/DI combos can't wait to use them.

I haven't made it out yet,so no fish for me.

hooked one fish tue lost him in a log jam a small one but still saw him and got me pumped

Not me, but luckily it's spring break next week so I'm gonna be heading out quite a bit next week.

I havent been yet. I just put on the new trolling motor and still waiting on my graph. Impatiently waiting on my graph. LOL

I havent got a line wet in 2012 yet. We had unsafe ice this winter so i couldnt ice fish. We have open water now but its been really cold and windy since ice out. Hopefully in the next couple weeks i can wet a line, even if its just the local stream.

I have fished every single weekend of the year except for one, I have caught three fish. Really sucking this year so far.

I havent been out ice fishing because of the unusual warm weather we were having, but as soon as I can get out, IM catching a Nice BASS!

Water temp has been around 35-40 the past few weeks in Northern Illinois. Was fishing in the snow yesterday and lost a nice one, guides were freezing too fast to fish a long time though.

Still a lot of ice out there. The weather is "predicted" to get ingto the 40-50's next week so I am hoping for ice out soon so I can use my new gear and hook my first one of 2012!!!

Went to a private pond today for my second trip out on the year and I told my buddy if anything of size is in it I'm going to find out. I caught only one today off a 3/8 Z-man chatterbait with a live magic shad. My LMB was 3lb from the scale but I'm a little unsure about it since I think my scale might be off(heavier on scale than should be) but I'm going to find out but if correct can't argue with that as my first bass on the year being at 3lbs. Hopefully I'll get out on my boat and either hit a river or a lake sometime soon.

FINALLY got my first fish of the year. Went out this past Saturday to a small pond. It was in the 50's and sunny, with alittle wind. I caught 2 small bass. Both on an arkie style shakey head, one rigged with a BPS incredible craw and the other with a rage craw. Caught a third swimming the rage craw back but he came unhooked before I got him out of the water.

Been out a couple times myself but no luck so far and water is really cold but no ice so I'll get out this weekend again for a hour or so depending on the temps.

Been out twice to no avail, very frustrating...

That would be me. Still have hard water here, though its going fast.

It might actually be out for good by the weekend. I really hope it is because I can't take much more of it.

I haven't caught any largemouth bass yet, I fish from the bank and its been a little to cold for them to come up shallow yet. Caught a striper in january off the surf though.

I haven't caught one yet either, but did get out with a buddy January 3rd and he caught a nice bass on a jig. I plan to do some fishing this weekend. Temperatures in the 60s-70s all week!
