Chatterbait. Replace the skirt with a swimbait ;)
Bet most of your pond bass haven't seen anything like it.

Spro Bronzeye or sight fishing on a bright day. Not bed fishing, sight fishing. When you have a four pound largemouth blowing up on a frog within 24" of your face as you're kneeling on the bank after the fish tracked the frog the whole way in is awesome...
And I don´t wanna think about tomorrow
I don´t need anything money can buy
I don´t have to beg, steal, or borrow
I just wanna live until I die

If I can reach the other side of the pond when I cast I'll work a fluke style plastic. Twitch, twitch, twitch, and pause the lure gets slurped. Caffiene Shads are what I like to use.

If I can reach the other side then im looking for a new pond to fish :)

I like fishing wacky rig 4 inch senkos or 4.8 flick shakes in open water but around weeds you cant beat a frog! Youll be suprised what size fish are under those mats!

I always start with something like a jig, and get a feel for the bottom, and the other stuff under the surface and go from there. If you hear or see an abundance of frogs, go with the frogs. That'a a lot of protein for a pond fish, and very hard to resist.
I married a moonshiner's daughter and love her still...

Super Fluke in watermelon red for me. That is my Number 1 pond bait.

Second place goes to a hula grub or rage craw on a jig head closely followed by a buzzbait.

Rapala minnow in black and silver. Learned how to bass fish with it in small ponds when I was a kid. If it wouldn't have worked I probably wouldn't be fishing today...lol

In my ponds, I KILL them on drop-shot. given my ponds don't have any huge bass. But still fun! Also, when its cloudy, I throw spinnerbaits.

In ponds, I go for a Zoom 6" Finesse Worm in a motoroil/chartreuse color. If that fails to serve it's purpose, I use the Zoom green pumpkin fluke. I sometimes use those Fox Roostertail Spoons or a small BPS Lipless Crankbait.

On the fly or on a lure, bass are my thing. Unless trout are around...
