This is a friend's 5lb. Smallmouth from Champlain. Obviously loves Perch... So ugly...

I was fishing smallies in a local river several years ago and caught the ugliest smallie I've ever seen. It was like 18", solid dark(mud) brown, red eyes and its fins and tail were beat up terribly. I don't know if it mattered, but the river was extremely low at the time.

This one takes the cake! Just a little smooshed. She went 20in 5lb 14oz. When she jumped i thought over 6 for sure.
