  1. Why would you want to PM yourself?
  2. They call me a pro but I just take people fishing and get a check at the end of the day. I don't use high end gear. Just middle of the road. Dobyns Rods and Revo Reels.
  3. Oh yea, we forgot to mention that. The new mobile BassResource rocks.
  4. lick a small hole in them and get the cream out of the middle and replace it with peanut butter. I've been doing this for years.
  5. With any major change there is always a few that have trouble with it. That is always expected. But in a competitive world change is necessary in order to stay on top. With the old site we were very limited in what we could do. We had so many great ideas that we just couldn't do because of it. Now the sky is the limit and we are excited to be able to offer you guys a social networking site for bass fishing. So make this place your place by using all the new features. Customize your profile and add friends. Start a photo gallery, add some videos, interact with each other like has never been done on any other fishing site. Most of all have fun with it and look for more great things to come along once we get all the details taken care of.

  9. I still have one problem with this frog. There is no option when it comes to the color of the belly of the bait. That's the part of the lure that the bass see. Why wouldn't they have different belly colors? Untill they come out with something other than white I will concider that these lures are painted to catch fishermen not bass.
  10. Marking a bed is common. When I find a bed with a large female on it I will mark it with a little bobber with some line and a weight on it. The bobber is places about 6feet to one side of the bed so I know were the bed is. Then I back off till I don't see the bed anymore and make repeated casts to that spot. I use everything from a swimbait to a finesse worm untill I tick the bass off enough to take the bait. This may take a few minutes or it may take an hour. You never know.
  11. There's no pricing or way to order them on thier website. Does someone carry them online for purchase? With this company it looks like if you live in Cananda they are easy to find. Only one store in the whole US carries their product.
  12. Strike King is going to try to fill the gap left by Tru-Tungsten. I've noticed that several tackle companies and stores are stocking Strike King Tungsten.
  13. Yes, I do it all the time. I mainly use the Merthiolate and the red to dip the tips of a green pumpkin or watermelon skirt with. For some reason that little bit of red makes a big difference in the Spring of the year.
  14. Nope, I don't know anything about a fluke.
  15. X2... My thoughts exactly. I enjoyed my time in the Army and am greatful to those who still wear the uniform.
  16. The French have done something like this. They are missing two generations of children due to the unpopularity of breeding. Doing this has created a void in their population. That void is being filled by other cultures, mainly middle eastern Muslims. The Muslim population is rapidly increasing in France. So if we were to do this I feel as though other cultures would just move in and eventually take over.
  17. I have the Green Mirror ones and I love them. My next pair will be Amber 580's. They are well worth the money.
  18. I guess I'm one of the few who always put a trailer hook on all my buzzbaits. I remember a trip that I had with Glenn. I was on a late summer buzzbait bite. As we got started I asked him if he was going to put a trailer hook on and he looked at me like I had something growing out of my head. Not three casts later he missed a good fish. Then I handed him a trailer hook. A few minutes later I boated a nice 4lber who was hooked on the trailer. So yes I always have one on. It's good insurance.
  19. You know it's bad when the neighbors chickens start loosing feathers over night. Yep, I've done that. My dad was a trout guide long before I was born. He taught me how to tie flies when I was 8. Since then I've studied under a couple of the best professional fly tiers in the country. There's always something new to learn and try out.
  20. I've been doing that for several years now. I love it. Lable all four sides and be sure to get the clear lables.
  21. Those look good Nate. Great for the first ones. Do you have a hair stacker. If not get a small one. This makes it easier to remove the shorter hair and cleans it up a bit. When you are wrapping hackle be sure to select feathers that are all the same width. The finished product will be cleaner. That's why the expensive saddles and necks are worth the money.
  22. I just took my Perception Caster out for the first time yesterday. I love it.
  23. Contests. That is awesome
